At Colbert's Taekwondo Academy in Pensacola's, our mission is to empower individuals of all ages to unleash their full potential through the teachings of Taekwondo. We meticulously provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where students can develop physical strength, mental resillence, and discipline.  Our dedicated instructors are committed to fostering personal growth, self-confidence and a sense of community.  Through the practice of Taekwondo, we aim to cultivate not only skilled martial artists but also individuals who embody respect, integrity, and perseverance in their everyday lives.

Taekwondo (hand - foot art) is a martial art and combat sport that originated in South Korea.  It emphasizes various kicking techniques, along with punches, strikes, and blocks.  Taekwondo combines self-defense techniques, physical conditioning, and mental discipline.  It promotes respect, self-confidence, perseverance, and integrity.  The roots of Taekwondo can be traced back to ancient Korean martial arts, but it was officially established as a distinct discipline in the 1950's and 1960's.. Today, taekwondo is practiced worldwide and is recognized as an Olympic sport.

Colbert’s Taekwondo Academy provides martial arts training for students of all ages: 

†Little Ninjas Program

 is specifically designed  for 3, 4, and 5 year old pre-school aged kids It helps prepare them for school and various social settings. 

Children’s Martial Arts 

This curriculum is designed for 6 to 12 year old school aged kids.

   Teen Martial Arts Program

is designed  for 13 to 17 year olds  It

prepares them for adulthood.

    Adult Martial Arts Program 

18 years and older.  It helps adults cope with stress and  everyday rigors of work and life in general.
